This video is an extract of the ERYC meeting held on 05.10.2022 in which Cllr Norman brought forward a motion concerning the length of time taken to get a meaningful response from Officers and Directors, proposing that all issues are provided with a substantive reply within 15 working days or an explanation why this is not possible.
Taken from Cllr Norman's Facebook Page:
"Today in Full Council:
So today in ERYC Full Council I am brining a motion which will bring about a streamlining of is raised by residents from all across the County.
Many residents raise issues with me and I, along with many fellow Councilors, find the length of time taken to get a meaningful response from Officers and Directors to be frustrating at best and down right annoying.
I am proposing that all issues are provided with a substantive reply within 15 working days or an explanation why this is not possible.
Personally, I am still waiting for an acknowledgement of an email with information on from February 2020. And this is from one of the Directors.
We will also be hearing that this Council rejects Fracking as well as a debate around the provision of Free School Meals.
Please enter the debate and watch it on the Council YouTube channel. Join in on the discussion."
