The recent Ward Elections for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council saw a significant loss of Conservative seats, to the point they no longer held the number needed for a majority. However, despite residents seemingly voting for a change (covered in the previous blog post) The way 7 'Independent' councillors and the 3 councillors from the Yorkshire Party voted has meant the East Riding remains under a Conservative leader once again.


The names of councillors and how they voted can be viewed above and the names and email addresses of Yorkshire Party and Independent Councillors who held up the conservatives can be found in the list below:
